ABOUT US
Based on the firm belief that no sustainable development is possible without food security, education and health, the PHARREL Foundation endorses that “the joy of living together is the catalyst for the growth of the social and economic fabric of any nation.
The vision of the foundation is “A better life at home and for all”.
This vision is to create favorable and adapted conditions, allowing the rural populations in particular, to live fulfilled in their own locality, while including in them the conscience of the best in themselves and at home.

The Pharrel Foundation operates in Africa and particularly in Burkina Faso in 03 main areas:
Axis 1
Integrated value chain food security
The following integrated value chain projects (Production-Transformation-Commercialization) are implemented in each locality of intervention of the Foundation :
- Agriculture (Cerelas, market gardeners, arboriculture);

Livestock (Aquaculture, Poultry, Beekeeping, Fattening, etc.);
- Water (drinking water);
- Energy (Renewable energy).

Axis 2
Empowering education
The sector highlighted in this axis is education, through the schooling of disadvantaged children such as orphans, internally displaced persons, and people living with disabilities in the various targeted regions of Burkina. Entrepreneurship is integrated into the educational curriculum in order to allow each student, whether advanced or not in terms of study, to have a professional know-how, allowing him to be autonomous and succeed in his life.

Health, hygiene and sanitation
The health sector developed in this axis consists in each targeted zone in :
- Health care for vulnerable people, with a subsidy for primary care and specific cases of illness;
- The reinforcement of the existing health center equipment;
- The construction of equipped health centers in areas where they do not exist.
